Wen Zheng

Co-Founder / vice president of engineering

Wen has 15+ years experience designing ICs in the defense industry, with a focus on radar, electronic warfare (EW) systems, space, and communications. Her IC design expertise ranges from analog to millimeter wave, in the areas of wideband beamformer and transceiver design. Prior to co-founding Otava, she has led multiple beamformer and transceiver programs from initial design through testing in the lab at Lockheed Martin. During these periods, she was responsible for the chip design and integration, IC packaging, test preparation, as well as being the main customer interface regarding program execution. She has a proven track record in bringing Silicon Germanium (SiGe) ICs into production successfully, from wafer probe testing to package testing in large quantities, as well as a deep knowledge of qualification per military standards. Wen received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA in 2004.
